German Design Award for the DURABLE monitor mounts

Iserlohn, Germany, 22.10.2020: The German Design Council has decided: DURABLE’s new monitor mounts are pioneering in the German and international design landscape and receive the German Design Award 2021 Special Mention. The German brand-name manufacturer has therefore once again won this internationally renowned award. The DURABLE monitor mounts impressed the top-class jury with their consistent design concept and its stringent implementation. ‘We are delighted that we are once again among the winners in one of the most important competitions for product design’, explains Martina Heiland, DURABLE PR Manager. ‘DURABLE develops innovative solutions for the modern working world. The various awards – of which we have won over 100 in the last few years – are a clear sign that we are on the right track and that our products are designed to be both forward-looking and sustainable’, reports Martina Heiland.
 

Functional design elements for ergonomic working on screens
The new DURABLE monitor mounts let you adjust the height, angle and distance of the monitors to individual requirements. Thanks to the patent-pending system, the individual adjustments are infinitely variable and require no effort. The correct viewing distance is thus ensured, so you can work more ergonomically and economically. The Institut für Gesundheit und Ergonomie (Institute for Health and Ergonomics; IGR) has awarded the monitor mounts the ‘Ergonomic Product’ seal of quality for their positive effect on health, well-being and performance in the workplace.

The mounts not only facilitate screen work in the office and home office, but are also ideal for various modern work concepts and environments. When sharing a desk, it just takes a few moves to position the screen in a way that suits the next user.
At sit/stand workstations, the mounts allow immediate adjustment of the monitor position, as the tilt angle is critical for the correct viewing angle, besides the height.
